CALL FOR ENTRY - 25 Years of Insalaco Alumni Art Exhibition
Since 2001 the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts has been the hub
for so much of what the Art Department experience has been.
It's been a center of creativity, a place of discovery, a home, and so much more. In honor of its 25th anniversary on the Marywood campus we could not think of better people to celebrate with than the alumni who laid the goundwork for its construction, or have been its inhabitants since the doors first opened.
Juried by Chairs of the past 25 years, including Matt Povse, Sr. Cor, Bob Griffith, John Meza, Pam Parsons, and Chris Medley, we want to invite our Marywood Art Alumni to take part in "25 Years of the Insalaco" Art alumni exhibition to take place at the start of the Fall semester in our recently renovated Mahady and Suraci Galleries in the Insalaco Building, with a special closing reception during Alumni Weekend, September 19th from 1:00-4:00pm.
We want to see the things that you are making or have made, the logos, the layouts, drawings, photos, paintings, sculptures, etc that reflect the creative work that you do.
It could be something that you made last week, it could be something that you made during freshman year; we want to share who you are and who you have become, and to celebrate the place that we have shared along the way.
Spread the word to your fellow Art Dept alums, and follow this link: https://lnkd.in/gZr-aE7w
to submit your work by July 11th 2026

Congratulations to Marywood Art majors Rebecca Prowse and Lauren Ciullo on your winning combined design promoting art and music at Carbondale's Second Saturday events!
We're excited to unveil the new poster design for Carbondale Second Saturday and to celebrate the talented student artists behind it! 🎨✨
This year's artwork was created through a special collaboration with Marywood University's Intro to Graphic Design class. Students designed posters celebrating Carbondale's vibrant arts community, and the final design combines the winning work of Rebecca Prowse and Lauren Ciullo.
A huge thank you to Professor Sue Jenkins and her students for partnering with us on this project. We're proud to support emerging artists and provide real world creative opportunities for the next generation of designers.
Congratulations, Rebecca and Lauren! We can't wait to share your beautiful work and use it to promote upcoming Second Saturday events.
