The cast of the upcoming production of "Letters to Sala," the story of a young woman's experiences in N**i Labor Camps, was honored to talk to Dr. Ann Kirchner, Sala's real daughter. Dr. Kirchner wrote a book about her mother's experiences and the over 350 pieces of mail and writings that her mother managed to save. The book, "Sala's Gift" was adapted into a beautiful and poignant play that will be presented at Scranton High on Nov 16 and 17 at 7pm and Nov 18 at 2pm. A display based on the letters, which were all donated to the New York Public Library, will also be available in the lobby before and after each show.

The Scranton HS Knight Players will present the family-friendly, musical comedy Youre a Good Man, Charlie Brown, from Friday, November 17th, through Sunday, November 19th, in the Performing Arts Center.

Performances are at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The play is based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz.

Although considered a good man by his friends, Charlie Brown cant seem to win the heart of the little red-haired girl. His friend, Lucy, cant win the heart of her crush, the piano-playing Schroeder. As Snoopy and Linus daydream, the rest of the gang encounters kites, school, baseball and misunderstandings before they finally realize what makes them happy.

Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder, and a beagle named Snoopy navigate the joys and pitfalls of childhood: chaotic baseball games, unrequited valentines, World War One flying beagles, and five cent psychiatry.
