From its inception, one of the foundations of the Scranton Women Teachers’ Club has been its scholarship program. The scholarship program began in the 1937-1938 school year. At that time three $100 scholarships were awarded. This year we are proud to award two $1,250 scholarships, two $1,000 scholarships, and two $750 scholarships to graduating seniors from Scranton High School and West Scranton High School. Recipients must demonstrate academic achievement, and both extracurricular and community involvement. Our scholarship recipients truly epitomize the kind of students the scholarship is intended to honor. Congratulations! 🎊
