CALLING ALL INCOMING KINDERGARTEN PARENTS...
It's time to register for the 25-26 school year.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
The Scranton School District encourages our community to begin Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year. If your child acquires the age of five by September 1, 2026 he/she/they can be registered for Kindergarten.
The following documents are required for registration:
● Birth Certificate or Passport as proof of age.
● Two proofs of residency to include, lease, mortgage, rental agreement + one utility bill or
● Affidavit of Residency, notarized letter, agency letter, car insurance or car registration, renter’s insurance.
● Immunizations
Due to school system upgrades you will be asked to complete a registration packet in person at 425 N. Washington Ave. Scranton, PA 18503 between the hours of 9AM-3PM.To complete the registration process you will need the above listed materials when you come to register.
Please complete the registration process as soon as possible to ensure your child’s placement. The registration process must be completed before you attend your child’s Kindergarten Readiness meeting which will be conducted by your child’s home school.
You will receive an invitation to that event.
