Scranton Karate School Many of todays American martial art instructors, and those of Korean ancestry, owe their start in Tang Soo Do here in North America to Grandmaster Trojanowicz.

The Scranton Karate School was established in 1961 by Grandmaster Frank Trojanowicz who is widely known as a pioneer and promoter of Korean Karate in the Northeast. Long before Kung Fu, Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris became famous, Master Trojanowicz was training and teaching Tang Soo Do. He has introduced and sponsored many of todays Korean Martial Art teachers, and been in part responsible for the establishment and chartering of other successful martial art organizations.

With tiny fists and steady heart-
She showed up ready from the start.

Through every kick and every fight-
She kept her focus, held on tight.

The hours were long, the road was tough-
Some days she thought she'd had enough.

But every bruise and every tear-
Made her a little stronger here.

And then one day, beneath the lights-
After countless days and countless nights.

A black belt wrapped around her waist-
A symbol of the strength she'd faced.

She stood so proud, her smile so wide-
With all her hard work by her side.

That little girl had proved it true:
There's nothing she can't learn to do.

The belt is black, but what it shows-
Not just skill from head to toes.

It tells of courage, heart, and grace-
And every challenge she chose to face.

So never judge her by her size-
For there's a warrior in her eyes.

A little girl, strong and brave-
A black belt earned, not simply gave.

🎉Congratulations to Liliana and Yoana, our newest BLACK BELTS!!! 🎉And congrats to all our new colored belts in our junior class! Way to go! TANG SOO👊🏻
