Happy Easter and happy Spring from the dePaul School!! 🐣🌹🌼🌿 Yesterday, we had our annual Easter egg hunt led by 8th graders Sierra and Malaina, along with some Easter themed games and sweet treats. This morning was our delicious Easter breakfast, which was catered by Pandarella’s Restaurant in Dunmore 🍳🥞🧇. We wish everyone a wonderful holiday, and spring break! We will be back in session on Tuesday, 4/7🌷🍃🌺.

Today is World Kidney Day 💚 dePaul School students and staff dressed down in green today to support Mrs. Nelson’s husband and all those awaiting a kidney transplant. Spreading awareness is extremely important to those affected by kidney disease 💚 Thank you for your support, and feel free to share Mr. Nelson’s story and picture.

♥️♥️Happy Valentine’s Day from dePaul School! Today we had our annual Valentine’s Day ice cream sundae party 🍦🍨 8th graders Malaina and Sarene helped scoop ice cream this year, along with 7th grade Briana, and 6th graders Echo and Addison. Everyone had a LOVE-ly afternoon! ♥️♥️

💗dePaul School students participated in Garden of Cedar’s Valentine’s Day heart program at the Everhart Museum in Scranton ♥️♥️ The hearts will be planted on the grounds of the museum from Valentine’s Day through the first week of March. Stop by to see dePaul’s heart along with many other schools in Northeast PA! 💗

It was a little late due to a snow day right before winter break, but we finally managed to celebrate the holidays at dePaul School! Students were able to exchange their Secret Santa gifts, enjoy LOTS of holiday treats thanks to our wonderful dePaul parents, then finished off the day with some movies! We wish everyone a very healthy and happy 2026!! 🎉👏🎆

It was “ugly” sweater day at dePaul, and students and staff did a great job representing! Although, we think they look pretty good 😊 🎅🎄 #

Last night dePaul School held our annual Christmas concert! ❤️💚 Everyone was dressed in their festive holiday best for a night of singing Christmas carols, holiday trivia questions, and hilarious holiday jokes. A special “wow” to the students who volunteered to perform solo, in a duet, or a trio! Also, a HUGE thanks to all of our dePaul families who donated a basket for our basket raffle. We couldn’t do what we do without you! What a great night!! Happy Holidays! ❤️🎄💚

Happy Thanksgiving from dePaul School!! 🦃🍽 Yesterday was our annual Thanksgiving lunch. We asked our dePaul families to send in a dish, and wow, did they deliver!! We truly had a feast that included turkey, ham, sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, various desserts, and more!! We are so grateful for our dePaul School community 🧡💛💚

We also held our “Disguised Turkey” contest yesterday, and there were several students and teachers who saved some turkeys from being eaten this Thanksgiving! Way to go!

Just a reminder that our Holiday Food Drive for people in need continues through December 12th. Take a look at what our generous students and families have donated so far in just two and a half weeks! Let’s double this over the next two and a half weeks! ☺️🥫

❤️🤍💙 Today was dePaul School’s annual Veterans Day program. This amazing program is why we have school on Veterans Day when other schools do not. We honor all who served our country and are grateful for their bravery, not only today but everyday. ❤️🤍💙
