I'm running for an At-large position on Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners (MCRGO) Board of Directors. Please vote for me. Ballots went out a midnight last night.
Here's my bio:
Hello, I am Susan McCray-King. As a lifelong gun enthusiast and supporter, I realized there were few resources available to women shooters like me. I saw the need to create opportunities for and introduce issues important to women, so in 2017, I led an effort to establish a local chapter of the national non-profit, The Well Armed Woman. In April, with me as co-leader, The Well Armed Woman Shooting Chapter of Mason County celebrated its first anniversary.
I am committed to taking an active role in promoting MCRGO by attending meetings and events, lobbying for firearm law reform, and encouraging firearm safety and training. My vision for the future of MCRGO is for the organization to continue fostering and protecting our rights as gun owners and help make social change through educating and empowering the people of Michigan.
My passion for fi****ms led me to advocate for and promote firearm safety and education. I am a MCRGO CPL Safety & Training Instructor, an NRA Pistol Instructor, and have become an NRA Lifetime member. I now co-own and operate King CPL Instruction, LLC.
Originally from Midland, Michigan, I now reside on the western side of the state in Scottville. I have over twenty years of teaching experience, and for the last decade I have taught as Adjunct Faculty at West Shore Community College. I serve the public as a Field Agent for the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention and my local community as Vice Chair of the Scottville Planning Commission.
