We are pleased to announce that our literary magazine from last year, Pegasus 2026, received Gold in the Critique from CSPS for the second year in a row. This is an evaluation for college and high school publications done by Columbia University.

Here are some of the comments from the judge:
" There is rich and diverse literary talent on display here. Impressive that a high school magazine includes not just one but two pieces of drama, to say nothing of the excellent poetry, prose and essays. There is a strong sense of rational consistency throughout the magazine and an intentional correspondence between the art and writing.

The overall impression this magazine leaves is one of a careful, thoughtful and consistent editorial staff as well as a student body who shares their creativity through a rich diversity of artistic genres - rather rare at the high school level."

Congratulations to all of our students involved in this publication! Way to make Rancho proud!
