The SCC CTL is running its first offering of “Let’s Get Accessible” training for faculty FPG (Faculty Professional Growth).
We all hear about what accessibility is and why. But most of our faculty are never trained on how to actually do it themselves. That’s what this course is about.
This workshop will be offered again in the Fall semester.

One of the important parts of teaching is creating a community between you and your students, and between students. This can increase student engagement and can establish a sense of belonging for each student, which can help with their persistence. This should start on the first day of class and continue throughout the semester.
