💙Anasazi now has a new home for one of our very special resident owls! 🦉
Did you know? Owls don’t build their own nests? They rely on tree cavities, abandoned nests, or safe spaces created by others to raise their young.
For the past few years, an owl has continued trying to make Anasazi her home, but unfortunately has not been successful nesting safely. Most recently this spring, we were hopeful she would welcome baby owls, but sadly her owlet fell from the tree. Thankfully, the baby was rescued and taken to Liberty Wildlife, where it is currently being fostered by another rescue owl.
We wanted to ensure this would never happen again! Ms. Sharry and Ms. Lori took action to help protect our local wildlife and create a safer home for our owl. Their care, compassion, and initiative is a beautiful example for our students of how individuals can make a meaningful difference in the world around them.
We can’t wait to welcome our owl back home to Anasazi!

🌎 Have you met our Spanish teacher, Señora Clemente? At Anasazi Elementary School, as part of our IB PYP, students take a Spanish language class that helps them build communication skills, cultural understanding, and global awareness from an early age.
Through songs, games, conversations, and hands-on learning experiences, students are encouraged to explore new perspectives and develop confidence in speaking another language.
Señora Clemente brings energy, creativity, and connection into every lesson, helping students grow into curious, open-minded international learners each and every day. 💙
