3 Days - Anasazi Staff

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our entire Anasazi staff! From keeping our students safe and our campus beautiful, to welcoming families, supporting our classrooms, creating meaningful learning experiences, and bringing a little magic to each school day, every person at Anasazi plays an important role in our success.

5 Days - Anasazi IB Action

As an IB Primary Years Programme school, we foster international-mindedness by helping students appreciate different cultures, perspectives, languages, and traditions while developing empathy and respect for others.

Our students learn Spanish as their world language and participate in meaningful experiences throughout the year that bring global learning to life. During Hispanic Heritage Month, families come together for our Family Game Night, and each February students celebrate International Friendship Day, where they enjoy cultural performances and interactive experiences from around the world.

Over the years, our students have experienced Native American hoop dancing, participated in African drumming workshops, explored the rich history of opera, and engaged with many other cultural traditions that broaden their understanding of the world.

One of our favorite traditions is welcoming our special friends from South Korea each year. During their visit, students build international friendships, learn about Korean culture and customs, exchange ideas, and discover that, while people around the world may have different traditions, we share many common values and experiences.

At Anasazi, we are preparing students to be curious, compassionate, and open-minded global citizens, ready to make a positive difference in our interconnected world. 🌎

6 Days - Anasazi IB Action

At Anasazi, we believe learning should inspire students to make a difference. Through the IB Primary Years Programme, students take meaningful action by serving others and making a positive impact in their community and beyond.

Over the years, our students:

💙 Partnered with the Welcome to America Project to help welcome refugee families to Arizona.

🇺🇸 Worked with Operation Gratitude by writing heartfelt letters to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders.

🐱 Supported the Humane Society by making and donating hundreds of handmade cat toys for shelter animals.

These experiences teach our students that even small acts of kindness can create lasting change.
