What a fantastic evening at Copper Ridge Curriculum Night! It was wonderful to welcome our Trailblazer families into our classrooms, share what students will be learning this year, and build strong partnerships for success.
Families had the opportunity to meet teachers, learn about grade-level expectations, explore curriculum highlights, and discover ways to support learning at home. Together, we are creating a foundation for a year filled with growth, achievement, and memorable experiences.

📚🔍 Book Detectives at Work in 8th Grade ELA! 🔍📚
Ms. McDonald's 8th grade ELA students are putting their critical thinking and inference skills to the test! Students were challenged to solve puzzles using only book covers, with the titles hidden, to predict both the title and plot of the story.
Some students are uncovering clues about the novels they'll be studying later this year, while others are examining texts and excerpts they'll encounter in StudySync. Through observation, discussion, and evidence-based predictions, students are discovering that readers can learn a lot before ever turning the first page!
We love seeing our Trailblazers engage their curiosity, strengthen their analytical thinking, and get excited about the literature they'll be exploring this year. 📖✨

Copper Ridge is ready to welcome our Trailblazers back on August 10th! This week, our amazing teachers have been hard at work transforming classrooms, organizing materials, and creating engaging learning environments for students. ✨🍎
We also had some incredible student helpers lend a hand with classroom setup, sorting supplies, decorating, and preparing for the new school year. Their teamwork and enthusiasm made a big difference and showed what Trailblazer pride is all about! 💙🖤
