🍎✨ An unforgettable evening celebrating the power of education, generosity, and community.

The second annual BASIS Charter Schools Gala in Arizona welcomed more than 400 guests, including families, educators, alumni, philanthropists, corporate sponsors, and community leaders, for an elegant evening of giving at Chateau Luxe.

Thanks to the incredible support of attendees through auctions and the paddle raise, the event exceeded its fundraising goals for the Annual Teacher Fund, raising more than $400,000 to support world-class educators and transformative learning opportunities. These funds will directly advance initiatives that enrich the student experience and strengthen academic achievement across BASIS campuses.

The evening also honored Dr. Craig Barrett, recipient of the inaugural BASIS Impact Award, in recognition of his extraordinary dedication to educational excellence and innovation.

This award recognizes Arizona’s top high school seniors for their academic excellence, leadership, and service. Scholars receive a comprehensive merit-based package valued at more than $135,000 over four undergraduate years, which includes tuition, fees, housing, and meals at an Arizona public university.

🎓The 2025 Advanced Placement exam results have arrived and we are proud to report that BASIS Charter Schools students have earned another year of remarkable scores!

We pride ourselves on having 100% AP participation among our high school students and the Class of 2025 took an average of 11.5 AP exams prior to graduation.

✏️In 2025, BASIS students took more than 9,800 AP exams, earning an incredible 95.20% pass rate and an average score of 4.18—well above the national average.

BASIS Students Excel on 2025 AP Exams In 2025, BASIS Charter School students had an AP Exam pass rate of 95.2% and an average score of 4.18. AP Exams allow students to master core academic content while getting ahead on college credits.
