What a Friday it was for the Coronado Learning Community! ❤️💙

The day began with Marching Through the Halls, as the Coronado Band, Cheer and Football teams visited schools throughout the CLC, bringing plenty of school spirit to the community.

The celebration continued that evening at Coronado High School as alumni from across the decades returned to campus to reconnect and celebrate 65 years of Coronado tradition.

Homecoming flag and tackle football then took center stage, along with a special performance by Donettes alumni and a celebration honoring the 1976 State Football Champions on the 50th anniversary of their championship season.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, reconnect and be part of such a special day for the Coronado Learning Community!

What does it mean to be part of the Coronado Learning Community?

Hear it from a Coronado student as she shares what makes this community, its schools and the people in it feel like home. ❤️

This year, Coronado High School is celebrating 65 years of learning, traditions and memories! 🎉

On Friday, Sept. 25, current students, alumni, families, educators and community members will come together to celebrate the people and moments that have shaped Coronado over the past six decades.

The 65th Anniversary celebration will bring generations of Coronado together with:

✨ Donettes Pom alumni from every decade, from the 1960s to today, reuniting on the field for a special 65th Anniversary performance.

🏆 The 1976 State Football Champions will be honored on the 50th anniversary of their historic title.

👑 Homecoming Royalty will be celebrated as part of the festivities.

🎶 Coronado Band and Cheer will take the field to showcase their talents.

The football doubleheader begins at 5 p.m. with girls’ flag football, followed by boys tackle football at 7 p.m.

For 65 years, Coronado has been building traditions, creating memories and bringing generations of students together.

65 years of learning. 65 years of tradition. 65 years of Coronado. ❤️

📚✨ Quiet reading time in Miss B’s kindergarten class! Our little Falcons took some time today to slow down, get cozy, and enjoy a good book. 💚📖

There’s nothing better than watching our kinders grow their love for reading one page at a time! 🥰📚
