Starting in AZ w/ their Land Cruisers, Monica & Jeff did 50,000m loop of North America from 2012-2014 and 33,000 miles in South America over 2015-2016.

Jeff & Monica Yaeger, of OverlandTheWorld.com, started overlanding the PanAmerican Highway, full time in 2012, with their Landcruiser(s). As Arizona natives, with backgrounds in Special Education (Monica) and Finance (Jeff), they decided that they were looking for some more adventure, culture, and the road less traveled. They completed a 50,000-mile loop of North America from 2012-2014 and 30,000

Very excited for the potential news today and for being able to work for a terrific company for the last 3 yrs.

Since Monica & I have basically not left the house in a few years, we decided to tackle the very 1st, double of our backyard. It was harrowing, wills were updated, lockers were a necessity, and we were so far off the path, that the Postmates delivery had no idea where to go. Therefore, I present our silly photoshoot, from our backyard. @ Scottsdale Air Park

Looks like we need some new 🥩. We decided we needed a break from (after our fourth set of Terra Grapplers) and have installed a new set of 5 Wildpeak AT3s 315/75R16. Anyone have good/bad luck with Falken? @ Hualapai Mountains

Monica & I we’re fortunate to get invited for some weekend wheeling by Brett & Liz, and met up with some old and new friends for parts of their own trip. Day 1 for us, was night wheeling Cedar Wash to the middle of the Hualupai Mountains and the back way to Boriana Mine the next morning. Day 2 we ran more trails between Wikieup & Yucca, AZ, a true choose your own adventure day. We camped near Sedona and the Greasy Spoon Trail, which we did the next morning. This was our appetizer before, Day 3 we ran Casner Mountain Trail 8. Thanks for the spot on your permit , we’ve always wanted to do this. We were bummed that was delayed this year, but we tried to make the weekend our own . Let’s do this again soon. @ Hualapai Mountains

The car is fine, but my camera women took a spill! We had the opportunity to join some friends for a run up , and some recent rain has added a few dramatic trail obstacles on top of the breathtaking views.

A little over 3 weeks ago, Monica & I visited Mexico City for the 1st time. We drove around the DF in 2012, when we camped near the pyramids of the sun & moon at Teotihuacán, but never made it to the Zócalo until now. We were very fortunate to have an amazing visit with my parents and stayed w/ family in . We wined & dined ourselves on some incredible meals. The presentation of food in 🇲🇽 restaurants is worth the international flight alone. You may see a few posts on this trip trickle in, since this was the first vacation I have had for over 15 months, & my last foreseeable one for 2020. Stay safe out there and let’s all dream about booking a flight as soon as this stay at home business is over. @ El Balcón del Zócalo Restaurante

This may look like a standard 200 series, but I can assure you, it is not. The agency that owns this attack resistant vehicle would assuredly not not let me purchase it, but it did serve as a cool means of transportation in the DF. @ Ciudad De Mexico, DF Polanco

Monica & I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this week, in a new city, in our favorite country, 🇲🇽. When we left the world was normal, but this COVID19 is making everyone bizarro. Let’s hope it passes quickly but plane flights remain cheap. 😛, amor y suerte. is insanely pretty. @ Cala de Mar Ixtapa - Guerrero, Mexico

Eleven years ago, Monica & I purchased our first home. We weren’t married at the time, and purchased a bank owned distressed property that we could barely afford. We, and our family, had to put a ton of sweat equity into the home to make it livable. We enjoyed the simplicity of the 1700sq ft and the freedom of no HOA. We are proud to share that we SOLD it today and wanted to thank anyone that has shared some cherished memories at the home with us.
Don’t fret though, we haven’t moved far and are still in Scottsdale near the Airpark. We will be announcing some Spring & Summer Pool parties at our new home soon. @ Scottsdale, Arizona

My driveway became extremely more interesting, albeit temporarily, while our good friends visited in their new series. Luckily, Ernesto trusted us enough to drive it to cars & coffee yesterday (Monica & I thought about hanging a left and never coming home). I am super excited to see the interior build and plans for their next big trip. It is no wonder why this platform is so often chosen for extended RTW trips. Congrats Ernesto & , this machine will be worth all the time & effort. @ Scottsdale, Arizona

Today was a weird day. It was gorgeous outside and there was snow on , in the Tonto Forest. It was also the 1st annual Memorial Run. The Land Cruiser community lost a fellow enthusiast and trusted voice this month. We got to swap stories and it was awesome to see the 50+ crowd that gathered to honor Kevin. Cheers to you Kevin and you’ll be missed.
