We are looking for advanced photographers to join our Intermediate Digital Photography Class, ART143 section 31467. This class is taught as a Hybrid course allowing us to meet face to face with masks and utilize the digital darkroom. This class starts on January 18th through May 13th and meets Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00 pm.
We will explore the intermediate theory, develop aesthetic awareness, and practice techniques of digital photography. Create images using your personal expression from image capture through intermediate techniques and introduction to high-resolution digital output.

We are looking for advanced photographers to join our Studio Art: Digital Photography Class, ART290mc section 33655. This class is taught as a Hybrid course allowing us to meet face to face with masks and have conversation and discussion on our topic Photography and Objects while utilizing the digital darkroom. This class starts on January 18th through May 13th and meets Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00 pm.
We will begin by exploring symbolism in photos and objects, then continue further into how we give meaning through story and personal interpretation. Next, we will cover creation and control with an emphasis on altering reality, which leads us right into photo objects and the importance of representation. Lastly, we will address the print as an object with three different considerations: print as an object, photo becoming three-dimensional, and a print transformed by the presentation.
