I saw this today. It's so poignant, beautiful, and true. Does it resonate for you as much as it does for me?
I help women become more authentic in their personal and professional lives.
š« I decided to create a life I loved instead.
After my divorce, I got tired of waking up at 2:00 AM second-guessing every decision I made, thinking I was missing out on my own life, and feeling angry, ashamed, and guilty. My personal passion combined with my coaching certificationsāin International Coaching Federation (ICF), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy Ā®, Hypnotherapy, Meditation, and Reikiāhave been catalysts for me

Imagine a day like this, where you get to:
* Help someone who wants to make a career change clarify their dream in a way that they hadn't been able to say outloud before.
* Guide two people (separately) to neurologically rewire the pathways in their brains so they no longer have internal conflict (about whether they're worthy or deserving).
* Support a business owner in becoming a stronger leader for her team.
* Finalize a leadership workshop that you're going to offer to your local SBDC.
This was a good day!
If you want to learn more about any of the above āš» , I'd be happy to share.

There's a big difference between a good leader and a great leader:
A good leader manages his outer world first.
A great leader manages her inner world first.

I've been a Bentley Falcon, a UMaine Black Bear, and now a University of Texas-Dallas Comet! I was just accepted to the "Executive & Professional Coaching" graduate certificate program at UT-D. I'm so excited to keep growing my coaching skills and expertise and adding to the certifications I already have in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy(r), Hypnotherapy, and ICF training. More tools in the toolbelt!

Sometimes managers, founders, or other professionals are placed in leadership positions without support or training...
..which can lead to lack of confidence, beliefs about being an imposter, and feeling riddled with self-doubt.
In these cases, it's a lonely and isolating place to be a leader, where you think you're supposed to have everything figured out and feel embarrassed to go looking for help from a peer or manager.
I can help change that.
I help leaders release the unconscious biases and beliefs they have about themselves, the ones that are holding them back from being fully authentic, transparent, and powerful in their leadership roles.
It's life changing.
I call it a Leadership Breakthrough.

Incompetence is underrated. If you never embrace incompetence, "you're playing it safe and leaving many of your talents untapped."
I read that recently in an article titled "The Joys of Incompetence, for Leaders and Coaches" by Ann Deaton, PhD, PCC.
It's such an interesting perspective, isn't it?
Yet think about it: the only way we've ever mastered anything is by being willing to be incompetent in the beginning.
We have to embrace these four stages:
1. Unconscious incompetence (you don't know what you don't know).
2. Conscious incompetence (you do know what you don' t know).
3. Conscious competence (you consciously know that you know).
4. Unconscious competence (you unconsciously know that you know).
So become a master. Embrace your incompetence. Keep going.

Liminal space: "a space where we must reorient, learn, rise and transform." Undoubtedly, every one of us has faced a liminal space. Liminal spaces are uncomfortable. Some of them we choose; some are thrust upon us.
How you approach a liminal space determines the quality of your results.
If you view a liminal space believing you have no control and are a victim of circumstance, your attitude reflects that you are the EFFECT of some cause. Your mindset will be focused on excuses and justifications as to why you are where you are, and you will most likely be stuck for a long time.
If you view a liminal space by looking for new opportunities around youāwhether you wanted the circumstance you're in or notāthen you are AT CAUSE, and that's a good thing. Being "at cause" is an empowering place; this mindset allows you to take responsbility and effect your own desired change.
In this article, the author shares all the transition stages of being in a liminal space, and the opportunities that are available to us to navigate through them gracefully.
Check it out!
Navigating Life Transitions - International Coaching Federation We have all experienced a disruption in the flow of our lives that has shifted us into a season of uncertainty. We find ourselves in a space where we must reorient, learn, rise and transform. This is liminal space. In liminal space, we must summon the courage and create the opportunity to convert kn...

Personal transformation doesn't happen in a moment.
Personal transformation happens in a series of moments.
Just like seeds.
You don't plant seeds one day and expect them to bloom overnight.
They need time to be planted, tended, and nurtured.
They need space to expand, grow roots, and reach higher.
You need that.
Your team needs that.
To be planted.
To have time.
To be nurtured.
That's how transformation takes place.
In a series of moments, over time.
