Meet Our Green Team!
Our Kindergarten friends are taking their role as the Green Team seriously! They travel around campus collecting and sorting recycling, helping keep our school clean and green.

Gross motor play gives children the opportunity to move their bodies, challenge themselves, and build confidence through active play. From climbing on the playground and riding bikes to crawling through tunnels, our students are building strength, balance, coordination, and body awareness all while having fun!

Fine motor skills are hard at work! From carefully placing puzzle pieces to holding a paintbrush and creating colorful masterpieces, our students at Camelback Desert School are strengthening their hand muscles, coordination, and focus all while having FUN!

The classrooms are ready, our teachers can't wait, and the smiles are already shining bright! Welcome back to all of our amazing families, and a special welcome to those joining us for the first time! We're so excited for a year filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and lots of fun!

Campers at Camelback Desert School recently demonstrated the power of kindness through our annual Kids Helping Communities event by organizing an Essential Items Drive benefiting the Phoenix Rescue Mission and the families they serve. Throughout the drive, our 4th-8th grade campers created colorful posters to educate and encourage fellow campers and their families to donate much-needed everyday essentials. The campers collected over 375 essential items then proudly sorted, organized, and prepared the items for delivery.

This week, our campers stepped into the magical world of Fairy Tales! They let their imaginations soar as they created their very own sparkling fairy wands, designed royal crowns and fierce (but friendly!) dragons.

We are thrilled to host our very first Summer Camp Scholastic Book Fair THIS WEEK! Join us any day this week from 8:00-5:00.

Our campers enjoyed an up-close encounter with some amazing animals, including a colorful chameleon, a Patagonian mara, rabbits, and several fascinating reptiles. They learned fun facts about each animal, explored their unique habitats and characteristics, and had the opportunity to ask questions and observe them up close.

What an exciting week at Summer Camp!
Our campers had a fantastic time during a special in-house field trip with Bomba AZ, where they learned about the rich tradition of Puerto Rican drumming. The children danced, laughed, explored new rhythms, and even had the opportunity to play the drums themselves!
