When our Intermediates step into the shoes of a veterinarian during dramatic play, they aren’t just playing dress-up, they’re building essential life skills! Caring for stuffed "patients" helps nurture empathy, compassion, and kindness, while filling out check-up forms and describing symptoms naturally expands their language and literacy skills.

Our Kindergarten friends got a little messy while learning about germs! They used black pepper as their “germs,” sprinkling it into water and testing what happened when they put their hands in. Then came the magic of soap! They watched as the pepper quickly moved away from the soap, showing just how powerful handwashing can be. To finish their experiment, our scientists washed their hands and watched the “germs” go right down the sink!

What better way to kick off the school year than with a visit from the Fantastic Firetruck! Our students had an absolute blast climbing inside the firetruck, holding and squirting the hoses, and splashing in the water to cool off.

A HUGE shoutout to our Parent Organization for organizing such a fun back-to-school event for our students!
