Whether your family is new to the IB program or you just need a brush up, we invite you to join us for an info-packed Zoom session that covers all the FAQs. IBPA board members will answer:

-What are CAS Hours?

-What is an EE, IA, and EA?

Get your morning joe while staying in the IB know! The IBPA's first Coffee & Conversation is just around the corner.

Don't forget to stop by Trailhead Coffee (inside McDowell Church) at 10700 N. 124th St. this Wednesday, August 19th, after morning school drop-off (around 7:30 am) and chat with members of the IBPA board.

Visit, ask questions, and learn more about the IB Parents Association and IB program at Desert Mountain. Meet other Desert Mountain families and share your experiences with us. We hope to see you there!

Book on over to Barnes & Noble this weekend for a great cause!

You can gear up for this year's IB reading AND support the IBPA by shopping at our Barnes & Noble Book Fair, which takes place THIS WEEKEND, August 14-16, at the at the Pima and Shea/90th Street location.

The book fair coupons are included. Please show one to the person at check-out (either printed or digitally) and tell them you're supporting the DMHS IB program.

A portion of all designated proceeds, including non-IB books, games, gifts, and other items, benefit the IBPA.

Don't forget to share this opportunity with friends and family for all their reading needs.

🎨 Don't Miss the Senior IB Art Exhibition & Reception! 🎨

Join us as we honor the artwork of Senior IB artists.

The IB Art Exhibition kicks off next Monday, March 30th and runs through April 13th.

All are invited to the Opening Reception next Monday, March 30th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, and the exhibition will be running during school hours through April 13th.

To attend either, please park in the lot at the north entrance of the school and check in through the front office. Hope to see you there!

The IB Ball is right around the corner on Saturday, 2/21, at 7 pm!

PLEASE NOTE:

✨Tickets must be purchased in the DM bookstore by Thursday, 2/19.

✨We're still looking for event chaperones. Chaperones will take tickets at the door, help refill the dessert buffet, and handle other tasks to make sure the event runs smoothly. If you'd like to volunteer, please contact your IBPA board at [email protected].

✨Don't forget: When purchasing tickets, please list the names of all student ticket holders and their year at DM. Each ticket must have a name associated with it when purchased. Students outside the IB program at DMHS are welcome to join as a plus-one! If your student wishes to bring someone who does not go to DMHS, they need to see Mr. Sheh to fill out an authorization form.
