We have just received this stunning new painting in the gallery by artist Stanka Kordic. Kordic integrates elements of abstraction and realism in her paintings. She prefers to work in layers, creating the foundation slowly and building upon what came before. To view all of Kordic's available works, visit our website at http://ScottsdaleFineArt.com

Featured in the gallery is an exciting new feature by artist Timothy Rees titled "100 Faces of Miami, Arizona."

Rees is enchanted with the inherent beauty of the small mining town of Miami, Arizona. This collection of 100 12x12 oil paintings was created as a tribute to the more than 100 year old town. The architecture is a hodgepodge of styles and ages; decrepit adobe structures, century old wooden buildings and newer house, create a visual patchwork with no two being the same design. Rees says, "These buildings are part of a rich history of a town full of variety, begging to be painted."

Michael Maczuga and Timothy Rees did a painting demonstration in the window of the gallery last night. Stop by during Art Walk next week on Thursday, April 10th if you're in town. Timothy Rees will be doing another demonstration for us.
