God + You = Winning

We need a great trainer in life to help us become a winner. I believe that God wants to be THE trainer in your life! With His ability and our obedience God can take the most unlikely person to succeed and turn them into a champion!

I realize that in winning you pay a price. You pay it with hard work, discipline and a determination to win no matter what. A winner is one who knows God and rests in His ability and strength. They know that with God's wisdom anyone can overcome all adversity.

In psalm 121:7 it says: " He shall preserve (keep) your soul." Here we see that God promises to" keep us" in our soul, which is our mind, will and emotions. In other words, God will help us to stay positive and motivated through any adversity we might have in life. He didn't say you wouldn't have adversity, but He promises to be with us in the adversity, to keep and preserve us, until we come out of it as a WINNER!

God loves us and He has winning on His heart for you. Maybe it's time to saddle up with God in all your life's struggles. I can promise you that He will never throw you off track! With God as our trainer in life it won't be long before you will be celebrating your victory in The Winners Circle!

GOD WILL PROTECT YOU!

My husband went outside this morning to put the recycling pail out by the curb for pick up. He didn't even realize that on his journey he accidently walked right through a swarm of very large BEES!
He called to me with that look of fear I've seen often and I said " Don't worry God's got you covered!"!
He continued to look at me through his eyes of fear but now he was afraid of me! Lol!
I laughed and told him how in psalm 91 it tells us that God will "...cover us with His feathers....and that He "..will protect those who trust in his name".!
I was certain that I was not going to be attacked by those bees because I was believing God for my protection. However, my husband was caught up in fear so I went inside to prepare some baking soda paste for his potential bite!
You see, we must call upon God to save us from harm all the time. He promises to protect us IF we TRUST in Him for protection.
I've been through some pretty terrible times in life and I remember calling out His name. He would always come through for me over and over again.
So for today, if you are going through something that has caused you to fear or to be afraid of, just call out his wonderful name to help you and protect you!
I can promise you, He will come through for you as long as you trust in Him!

"ENTER GOD'S REST TODAY AND RECEIVE BIG!"

I believe that today will be a day of ease for those of you who trust in God and His promises. The bible is filled with thousands of promises of blessings God wants to bring into our lives. We receive those promises for prosperity, health, restoration and deliverance by believing in that God has ALREADY made provision for your need through his son Jesus. It is in believing in Jesus' finished work on the cross that we receive healing into our bodies, finances and relationships. The bible tells us ..." by Jesus stripes we WERE HEALED" Isaiah 53:5.

So many times when I pray for people I speak God's word for healing over their bodies and they look at me and say, " I believe God is a miracle working God and He is well able to do anything he wants BUT....will He do it for me?"
My answer is always the same..."Jesus died on the cross taking your sickness into his body...I don't remember him having a list of people that were exempt from this act of love, grace and mercy.
When he hung there he took EVERYONES' sickness, pain and sin."

So I say to you today, believe that Jesus already took your problem of lack, sickness or heartache and receive your miracle today!
Enter into rest, stop trying to make your miracle happen all by yourself. You who are working 3 jobs, STOP and focus on God's ability to make things happen in your finances.
You who have disease in your body, REST and believe that Jesus took your sickness already.
Stop laboring for your breakthrough and trust in God's ability to see you through for your breakthrough!
Have an incredibly easy and restful Friday in Jesus' name!

"EXPECT AN EPIC DAY!"

God told me today that you will get what you expect in life!
He also told me we receive His promises for our lives the same way. If we are expecting to have a bad day we will. If we expect a good day we will get it. If we expect restoration for our finances, marriages or health, we will receive what we believe. If we expect bankruptcy, divorce or death, we will receive that as well.

Expectation is linked to our faith. In other words, whatever we are believing for we will get. The word expectation in the dictionary means; "a belief about [or mental picture of] the future." Here we see that expectation also has to do with our ability to see things in our minds' eye. If we can picture it in our mind it will most likely happen.I call this creating a vision for your life.
I remember when I was very sick with fibromyalgia and I was believing God for a complete healing in my body. I struggled to gain a clear picture of what I would look like healed because I was in so much physical pain and I looked very sick.
Then, one day I found a picture of myself walking on a beach years ago before I got sick. I felt led to put that picture up on my mirror and to look at it daily so I would encourage faith to grow in my heart. I believe that picture helped me to see myself as God sees me, completely healed and whole. I knew God wanted me healed. I was His child and no parent wants his child sick. That picture created a vision of health on the inside of me and I walked out my healing until I was completely healed. I EXPECTED myself to get better and better everyday.And that's what happened!
So today, expect to have a wonderfully blessed day! Expect your husband or wife to do something special for you! Expect good news about your finances and kids! Expect the miracle you've been believing for!
So if we combine the word " expect", which means regarding something as probably or likely, and the word "epic" which means to surpass the ordinary, I believe God is saying to us today:
" Believe that you WILL most likely have a day that SURPASSES the ordinary!"

"IT"S TIME TO BECOME INDOMITABLE!"

The word indomitable means "impossible to subdue" and the word "subdue" means to "put down by force or intimidation, or to get on top of".
What God is saying to us through this word is ..".It's time to start putting the devil in his place through our authority and begin to intimidate him! It's time to get on top of negative circumstances that the devil has sent to defeat us! It's time to stop losing and start winning in life!
Intimidation can make a person do something they don't want to do or not do something because of fear.For example, it took me years to fight off negative thoughts sent by the devil that I wasn't smart enough to start and run my own life coaching business. I use to say the devil was working "overtime" to cause me to back down or "cow down", to any positive actions I wanted to take towards starting my business.
Through the art of intimidation the enemy had me cornered for years, immobile and paralyzed by fear until I began to learn the truth about myself and God. I had to" put down" the lies I believed as truth.
I learned that WE HAVE FULL AUTHORITY in this earth to dominate the devil and all his little cohorts! Jesus transferred all power and authority to us, His church, before ascending to heaven.
We all need to grasp this wonderful truth and start exercising our authority over the devil! Tell him today:

" God has made me INDOMITABLE devil! I kick you out of my life, my mind, my body and emotions.You will not destroy my marriage, my kids or my destiny! God made me a WINNER in Jesus' name! You have no right or authority in my life anymore!"

Now I ask you, with ALL the power of God backing you up...
HOW CAN YOU LOSE?!!!!!
Today I dare you all to rise up in authority in your negative circumstances and declare that YOU ARE INDOMITABLE!!!
Don't "cow down" to the intimidation of the enemy...Tell him to "moooove" over he's not in control anymore!. Tell him "BYE- BYE in Jesus name!" .....he's not in authority over your life anymore! It's time to become IMPOSSIBLE TO SUBDUE!!!!

"LOOK FOR YOUR U TURN!"

"Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around!" Proverbs 13:13 msg

Many disappointments can happen in life. Sometimes they can feel like turbulent waves that continually crash upon the shore during a storm.But I'm here to tell you that you need to look for your turn around!
We serve a mighty and powerful God who is very able to turn our disappointments around! ASK God today to intervene on your behalf in the situations you are facing. Then BELIEVE That God has heard your request and has already set things in motion to help you.
God loves us unconditionally...ALL THE TIME! He sees you at your point of need and is only too ready and willing to help. We just need to ASK and BELIEVE!
I have seen great miracles in my life through this turn around principle. It works! Our faith, believing in God, is powerful! The enemy doesn't want you to believe in God and His ability. He has lied to us that God is judgemental and very distant. Not true. My experience of God is quite the opposite. He is loving and kind and only too willing to send us blessings in our time of need.
So for today, reach out in faith and begin to trust in Gods love for you. Grab hold of His ability to turn around your disappointments. Ask Him to help. Then believe that He will be faithful to answer and act on your behalf.

"STOP BEING THE SIDE DISH!"

God has designed us all to be an amazing image of Him in the earth. However, sometimes our life experiences tell us something quite the opposite. I'm sure we can all relate to the negative things and names people have spoken over our lives such as:
" You're never going make it, you're lazy, you will always be poor, you're too old, too young, too short, too ugly, too fat, you're not enough and once a failure always a failure".
These word are powerful and seem to undermine our lives in such a damaging way because they prevent us from moving forward to accomplish great things in life.
God wants me to tell you all today that,, "You are going to make it! You are a hard worker! You have abundance! You are the perfect age! Your height is perfect! Your body is beautifully created! You ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH! YOU ARE A SUCCESS!
With God all things are possible!
Stop feeling and acting small. Stop being the side dish or allowing someone to treat you like one. You are a 5 COURSE MEAL!!!
You are complete and whole and lacking nothing.
Dear child of God stop going through life as a side dish feeling as though you are not important enough to be loved. God adores you AS IS!
God loves you...and so do I! Put a smile on because you are dearly loved by God. No one can love you like God! Ask Him today to manifest His love to you....look for heart shaped items like me! I'll be outside today looking for heart shaped leaves, rocks, clouds, etc.....

Did you ever hear the saying " It is what it is!" ?

Well, this week I'd like to challenge you to think about changing this saying to "It is what I want it to be!"
Words are powerful! Try changing what you say about your life. I dare you to refuse dysfunction in any area of your life! You DO have choices in life!
Refuse to except lack, sickness or thoughts of depression.
Refuse to accept defeat in your marriage, job or schooling.
Today is a new day and with Jesus living on the inside of you He's ready to empower you to live the life of a champion!
You can refuse to accept" what is "and change it into what you want it to be!
You can say," I'm getting stronger and healthier everyday! My financial situation is turning around! I will pass all my courses! There is a better job for me and I will find it! I choose to be happy today!"
This is how a champion talks and Jesus is waiting for you to speak faith-filled words into your situation.

Coaching Tip of the Day: Get Free From People Pleasing!

So many people today are not living their dreams because they are too busy people pleasing. If you are a people pleaser, like I was, you will soon find out that by keeping the peace and pleasing others, you will personally pay a very high price. By pleasing others, you will find out it can cost you your health, finances, relationships, peace and most importantly your dreams.
I have found that in my own life, pleasing others, by doing what others think I should be doing, has cost me too much in life. It cost me in time, money, health, inner turmoil and my dreams. I unknowingly modeled my life after my mother who was a co-dependent victim. She had no self-esteem and displayed very little confidence.
She had dreams but never felt worthy enough to live them out. Her biggest dream was to have a united and loving family. This never happened because of the abuse she allowed to continue in her family. She always did what pleased my father because of her fear. She didn't do what pleased God which was to protect her children.
My dad was an abusive sociopath that used everyone in the family to satisfy his every fleshly desire and dreams. He could have been stopped if my mom confronted him about his destructive behavior and got him help.

Instead, she enabled him to continue being abusive by being fearful and passive. His abusiveness needed to be addressed so that he could begin to take personal responsibility for his destructive behavior.
Unfortunately,he was never stopped. My mother was afraid of my father and afraid to confront the truth about his abusiveness. As a result, she lived a life of isolation, shame and people pleasing, which in turn, only fueled my dads actions.She never lived out her dreams due to fear and people pleasing.

What does all of this have to do with you? Plenty! It shows us that we cannot let our people pleasing ways control us through fear. Being passive about allowing dysfunction to continue in relationships is irresponsible. People that are in relationships who are afraid to live out their dreams because they fear the other person won't support them is nothing but bo***ge.
Living a life of people pleasing is showing others and God that your life and dreams don't matter and that they are not worth fighting for. We are to be God pleasers and that means doing what God created us for, not doing what others want for us.

Jesus died to give us freedom. We have a responsibility to live in that freedom by becoming the person God designed us to be. Everyone came into this life" fully loaded" with dreams and incredible potential.You have everything inside of you to make your dreams a reality.
If you continually yield to the desires of others through people pleasing you will not only feel stuck and frustrated, but you will be denying the world of an incredible gift...YOU!
You have a responsibility to connect with God and His dreams for your life. A life outside of God's will is not a life worth living. Living a life of people pleasing is a life filled with pain. We have been delivered from the curse of pain.
God wants you to enjoy your life. Your happiness is not based upon fulfilling other peoples' dreams. It's great to help others but only AFTER we have our boundaries set and priorities in order.
So for today, try to get some alone time and ask yourself " How have I been denying myself and my dreams? How have I been putting the needs of others continually before me and how have been putting myself and my dreams last on the list?"
You might be surprised at your answers. You owe it to yourself and to God to pursue your God given dreams. Don't wait another precious minute focused on pleasing others. Find your value by pursuing your dreams. Take the time for yourself to dream again... before time takes your dream away!
