Yes, Arizona is known for hot summers — but what most people miss is that it offers more flyable days than any state in the country. When consistency matters and momentum is everything, nothing derails training like weeks of weather delays.
In Arizona, winter storms and summer hurricanes aren’t part of the curriculum.

2025 saw record-setting Student Achievement for Universal Flight Concepts and Universal Helicopters with 216 checkrides passed, 49 students' first solos, and 68 Bell 206 and 505 Certifications issued as a Bell CTF (certified training facility).
