Want to grow as a leader? Start with the habits you practice every day.
Self-leadership doesn’t always look like a big leadership moment. It can be getting enough sleep, making time to move, eating well, or creating routines that help you stay on track.
Those everyday choices can influence how you handle pressure, make decisions, listen to others, and respond with empathy.
For students building their careers, ideas, and futures, learning to lead yourself is a great place to start.
What’s one habit that helps you show up at your best?

What if students walked into the classroom thinking, “I can make this better”?
Innovation doesn’t have to start with expensive technology or a fully equipped makerspace. It can start with something much simpler: curiosity.
When students are encouraged to notice problems, ask questions, test their ideas, learn from what doesn’t work, and try again, they begin to see themselves as creators — not just consumers.
As the new school year begins, there’s an opportunity to give students the space and confidence to explore what they can create.
Read “Back to School: Building a Creator Mindset in the Classroom” and discover ways educators and families can help young people turn curiosity into action through ASU Edson E+I.

The U.S. Latino economy reached $4.4 trillion in 2024, making it the fourth largest in the world if measured independently.
New ASU-supported research found that U.S. Latinos accounted for 28.2% of the nation’s economic growth that year despite representing about one-fifth of the population.

Great ideas aren't found, they're refined.
Innovation is rarely about getting everything right the first time. It comes from asking questions, testing new approaches, and being willing to improve along the way.
At Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute, students learn by doing. Through workshops, guest speakers, competitions, and hands-on experiences, they gain the skills and confidence to experiment, refine their ideas, and turn inspiration into action.
The next breakthrough often begins with a simple question: What if we tried something different?
