I love this verse and I love how the tide takes on a beautiful lacy appearance. I shot this photo during a trip to La Jolla for our 5th anniversary. Good times :-)

If you are able to keep that awareness and compassion alive in you, then you can sit for one hour and listen even if the other person’s speech contains a lot of wrong perceptions, condemnations and bitterness. Meditation is the peace of the puzzle that holds my day together.
There are few tools more effective or more useful in achieving deep knowing, true joy, and inner peace than daily meditation. Are you meditating regularly? Is it the first thing you cut out of your day if things start off, or begin to get, hectic? It should, of course, be the last thing.
