Pick Up and Drop Off Information- PLEASE READ! 
If you are coming to pick up your child(ren) via car lane next week or in person, we ask that you bring a couple of things along and adhere to the following recommendations- 

1. (Pick Up Car Lane Only) A plain piece of paper in your dash (or with you displaying prominently) with your child (ren) name and grade level written in bold ink for us to identify and get your children to the car as quickly as possible.  

2. (Drop Off)- Please DO NOT drop your child off and leave them before 8:15 AM when staff is on duty.  There is NO SUPERVISION prior to staff arrival for duty at 8:15 and we want students to be safe! 

3. (Pick Up and Drop Off -Car Lane Only) Please DO NOT exit your car as this holds up the line and is also dangerous when cars go by to exit the pick-up lane

4. (Pick up and Drop Off Car Lane Only) Please pull all the way forward, and please adhere to the directions of the staff on duty (who are wearing bright safety vests) 

5. (PIck Up- Car Lane and Parking) Please be patient with the long lines (at first) and with our staff!  The first few days are the worst, but usually we clear the parking lot no later than 3:40 on the first days. 
Once everyone gets in the swing of things...it is no later than 3:30 PM- Be very careful and very cognizant of little bodies walking alongside adults in the parking lot! 

6. (Pick Up- Parking) If you are picking up your child by hand, please walk up to get them. We DO NOT allow students to walk through the parking lot on their own to join you in the car. 

Depending on the weather next week, children may be waiting outside under shade and tents for their parents to pick them up by car.  If it is extreme weather...we may implement the pick up procedures we did last year with the library as a staging area.  We have purchased more shade and will have that available for students and staff.  Please ensure that your child has a water bottle (we have many fillers available here for refills during the day)

After you meet your kids teacher tomorrow morning abd drop off supplies please feel free to stop by the library to ask any remaining questions. Principal Hummon will be in the library at 10:30 to answer any questions you have.
