My career shift came during the pandemic like many others. At the time I was working full-time at UPS managing one of the warehouse shifts in CA, as well as growing my financial business.
I decided that I was growing tired of showing up every day to do the same thing, with small variations, and it wasn't bringing fulfillment to my life anymore. So summer of 2020 I quit my job at UPS (safe salary) to go in to my financial business full-time. It was tough, but I knew that it was what I wanted to do and that I enjoyed helping others create a path to financial freedom.
Almost two years later, I have moved to AZ to live where I want, doing what I want as a career, and enjoying every minute of it. To those who are still deciding if a career change is worth it, take a look at your plan and make the jump!

The traditional way of thinking is that the market will do what it does. Plan to invest your money for the long run, and ride the ups and downs. Take the highs of the market on a positive run, and then stress when the market is down (but don't worry, it'll come back).
Nowadays, there are strategies and planning available that will give you peace of mind that no matter who is being elected or what is going on in the world you aren't losing everything that you worked, saved, and invested for.
Also, bonus if you can create a completely tax-free income future.
