ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards happened last night and Chaparral Theatre’s Hadestown: Teen Edition won 3 awards:

Huge congratulations to the cast and crew for winning BEST MUSICAL, Katerina Anderson for winning BEST VOCALIST, and Lexi Rohl, Shane Danielson, Caroline Tefft for winning BEST SET AND PROPS!

The ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards (HSMTA) recognizes and celebrates Valley high school students and faculty that produce musical theatre programs. Chaparral High School has been nominated for multiple awards and will be performing a medley from its spring production of Hadestown: Teen Edition at this year’s High School Musical Theatre Awards Ceremony on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
