Days March 30 31st and April 1st, but my daughter is saying they don’t have half days, do they? I work and made arrangements to ensure she gets home safely, but if they are full days don’t need the help. I want to trust the district calendar. Anyone know for sure?

Gratitude Tuesday. I do not know if that is an actual thing, but I want to give a BIG shout out to the Cocopah APT and all their tireless volunteers. This has been a strange few months, but our APT has not slowed down one bit. Thank you for continuing to support our school through your generosity of time, resources, and talent. Our APT continues to engage our community and support our school staff in ways that do not get acknowledged enough. Dear SUSD Middle School Families,
This has been an exciting season for SUSD high school football teams, and we appreciate that so many families have spent their Friday nights this fall cheering on our student athletes.
This Friday, the Desert Mountain Wolves will take on the Higley Knights at home in the 5A state semifinals. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. In an effort to keep all fans safe and all children accounted for, all middle school students in attendance must be accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian) at the game and seated in the stands with the other spectators.
This is the expectation in other districts and will be ours, too, moving forward.
As always, the safety and security of our students and the larger community attending our public events is our primary concern.

Chaparral welcomed 8th graders from Cocopah and Copper Ridge today for our annual Firebird Fly-In, a chance for incoming 9th graders to visit campus and get a sense of what next year might be like for them. Thank you, teachers and counselors, for coordinating this milestone! Welcome, Class of 2027!
