Fun fact about me: I’ve neverrrrr been able to do a push up. These band assisted push ups were so cool bc I got to feel what it’s actually like 😂 starting with 2 bands for week 1, I have a feeling I’ll be able to lose a band in a few weeks. alsooo how fun are these leg lifts???? this is why i love working out with my trainer — even though I’ve been training with him since 2012 (consistently since 2016), he still creates new exercises monthly so we never get bored && we get to try new things. Could I go to the gym on my own? Sureeeee, but 1) it’s not as fun 2) idk cool new things to try & I don’t really care to teach myself 🥲

Things I wish I could tell my younger self to help her sleep better at night 🥹

Your curly hair is beautiful—one day, you’ll love the way it makes you stand out. Don’t waste so much time straightening every single strand over & over & over.

Being outgoing isn’t “too much”—it’s a gift that will open doors, make you money, build friendships, and create endless opportunities for you.

You don’t have to make yourself smaller to make others comfortable. Shine as bright as you want bc people will look up to you one day.

Gaining weight is the best thing that has ever happened to you. You are destined for this journey so you can change peoples lives.

The things you’re insecure about now? One day, they’ll be the things you love most about yourself.

Every setback, heartbreak, and tough moment will shape you into someone stronger, wiser, and more resilient. You are capable of doing and handling hard af things.

Everything always works out, even when it doesn’t feel like it in the moment. Your mantra will become “everything happens for me”.

The people who are meant to be in your life will love you for exactly who you are. Your circle is your family and you’d all walk through fire for each other.

You are worthy of all the love, success, and happiness coming your way. Your life is perfect.

Eeeeeeek!!!!!

Down 3.4 in a month. 11.6 pounds since I started. I am loving this progress. It’s nice and slow- exactly what I wanted. I’ve finally added in more walks and more workouts. I’ve been eating more protein and all around taking better care of myself. I told myself I’d do this round of 💉differently and I AM. It’s just so much better.

I feel SO good. I put on clothes and FEEL GOOD.
I look in the mirror and don’t cringe at what I see
I bought new bathing suits for summer!!

When I feel good in my skin, I just know I move differently. I feel more confident, I have a better mindset and headspace. I’m more productive. I’m happier all around.

This isn’t about the number I saw this morning. It’s how I feel in my skin. I’ll admit it. Back when I first started I used to chase the number and now I just use it as a check in and accountability system.

I missed feeling good. I missed being overwhelmingly happy. I missed showing up for myself. But it’s okay to take detours — as long as you find you’re way back. Remember, progress— not perfection.

Down 8.2 pounds!!! Clothes are fitting so much better. Energy levels are WAY higher. Feeling so so so good. Stilllll need to get out and walk. Now that it’s lighter in the morning and warmer I have ZERO excuse.

I didn’t give myself a shot this week because I upped it last week and still feeling like my appetite and cravings are at bay so I might start spreading my injections out by a few more days. Just doing some trial and error to see what works best for me!

Sometimes I stop & think what my life would be like if I never reached close to 300 pounds. Then I stop myself & remember that it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

Throughout my journey to lose weight & better my life-I have fallen in love with myself.

😮‍💨I never thought that was possible.

Growing up I was always around 130-150 pounds but I hated my body. I wanted to be skinnier and smaller and shorter and prettier. We are all our toughest critic, sure but the things I used to say to myself I would NEVER say to someone else.

My weightloss journey has made me so obsessed with my own life & I am positive I wouldn’t be THIS happy without going through allllll the hard s**t.

From a burnt out teacher/cheer coach working 16 hour days to an online accountability coach, office coordinator at an aesthetic & wellness studio & virtual assistant 😍 I only have myself to thank 🤝

Haven’t weighed in recently because lif, ya knowwww but!!

I’m down 2 more pounds 🙂 I’m so happy to be losing weight slowly to hopefully help with the loose skin situation. The arms and legs are nottttt as tight as I’d like them but I’m not lifting or walking NEARLY as much as I should be. That’s on me.

I took a shot on Thursday and upped it to 3.5mg from 2.5mg and I can tell it’s working a little better now that my body got used to the meds again.

Biggest side effect right now is on Friday and Saturday I am EXHAUSTED. Like running on fumes exhausted but I’m going to work on moving my shot earlier in the week so my weekends aren’t so sleeeeepy.

I’m happy with my progress so far & looking forward to seeing the 140s again 🤭🤭

Total weight loss so far: 7lbs!

Just a girl happy to be here 💖

Taking a second to be grateful for everything I have because life moves so fast & I don’t do it as often as I should.

Thank you self + universe for this life ✨💫

I’ve been getting regular doses of NAD+ for about six months now. It has been LIFE CHANGINGGGG for me & I can really say that I have never felt better. I usually do it in shot form once a week but recently got it in a drip & loveeeed it. I think I personally like it better in a shot because it’s quicker but the effects definitely last longer through an IV.

Soooo what the heck is NAD+?

NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every cell of the body that plays a key role in energy production, DNA repair, and cellular regeneration. It helps convert food into energy, supports brain function, enhances metabolism, and combats cellular aging.

As we age, NAD+ levels decline, which can lead to fatigue, brain fog, and slower recovery.

Regular NAD+ therapy helps boost energy, improve mental clarity, enhance muscle recovery, and support overall longevity.

I can tell when I’m due for my next dose because I start to get less productive LOL & I think it’s helped so much being back on tirzepatide bc I don’t get as lethargic!

All this to say- I’m so thankful to work in the wellness space. I never knew about anything like this when I was a teacher. I wouldn’t be here or feeling this good if I didn’t go through a whole lifestyle change so many years ago— I’m so thankful I bet on myself because I have truly never been happier 😭

Weekly weigh in!

Took my 4th shot last night! I’m down 4.4 this week and 5 total since starting on January 9th. I can tell alllll my inflammation went away this week. I think majority of that 4.4 pounds was water weight and swelling because I don’t feel bloated or puffy AT ALL.

So far I’ve done 3 workouts this week(dance again tonight) and have been eating so much better. Salads instead of fast food, wraps instead of sandwiches. This medicine just really helps me with my cravings and hunger cues. When I’m full, I stop eating. Which I can’t say is the case when I’m not on the shots. I doooo need to work on drinking more water 🙃

I’m still on 2.5mg and going to continue on this low dose for now. So far I am thrilllled with this progress and feel great ☺️

Starting up my weekly weigh-ins again for accountability! Back in 2018-2020, posting my weight once a week was the BIGGEST motivator for me during my weight loss journey. Knowing I’d step on the scale and share that number with the world pushed me to stay on track. Not only did I want to make myself proud, but I also wanted to make you proud. I’m so excited to bring this series back.

Becoming an accountability coach was inspired by so many reasons, but a big one was how Instagram became my personal accountability tool. I know not everyone feels comfortable sharing their weight online, so I wanted to be that source of accountability for you.

Right now, I’m on 2.5 mg of Tirzepatide, and during this first week, I haven’t noticed much change in my appetite—which doesn’t surprise me. It’s a low dose, and I’m just letting my body adjust. I’m down 0.6 lbs this week, and I’m happy with it! I already know I need to focus on adding more movement (walking!) and drinking more water. I’m taking my second shot tonight and will update you on my progress next week🙂
