Today is the day! Come out and secure your FREE PreK voucher!!

We are at the Early Learning Academy from 2-7 today here to help assist families in the On My Way PreK process and documentation!

SCSD2 will be hosting an On My Way PreK Document day tomorrow June 4th from 2:00-7:00 at the Early Learning Academy building.

Any prospective Pre-k parent needing to submit documentation for their On My Way Pre-k application is encouraged to attend.

Families will need to enter through door 26 which is the main door next to the tall windows at the Early Learning Academy building.

Please have your documents ready to turn in (birth certificates, proof of residency, proof of income (lowest paystub in the last 60 days), drivers license).

We will have our fabulous On My Way Prek rep, Miss Kendra, on hand to answer any questions and help families through the process if needed.

Unfortunately, on the last day of school the build-a-bear truck broke down and was not able to make it. The make up day is arriving. Tomorrow all students who attended the ELA this school year can come to the ELA.

Information has been sent on Brightwheel about this including the times. If you are not able to access your Brightwheel please let us know!

This is an amazing group of students!! An amazing group of employees. Today was the last official school day for the 2023-2024 school year. We struggled with goodbyes today. All preschool classrooms for Scott County School District 2 will be located in the elementary buildings and the ELA will be closed. We will miss these children, and their smiling faces that are eager to learn. We will miss the laughter that filled the halls. We will miss seeing the young friendships that bloomed throughout the year. We will miss the parent events where we got to see all the wonderful involved parents. But through our tears we want to thank you! Thank you for sharing your child with us this school year. Thank you for the privilege and honor of being a part of your child’s first educational team. Thank you for allowing us to watch your child learn and grow. Thank you for lessons we learned by being a part of your child’s life. We wish each and every one of you the best. We hope you have a wonderful summer!

Thanks to the pto we got to enjoy some “Ice cones” from Kona ice!

My 3 kiddos enjoyed doing there first performance ever! They did an amazing job and had the best support from all the parents!

Ive enjoyed this year so much and have enjoyed seeing these kiddos strive and learn and grow! They have gone so far just from the beginning of the year to now. Im saddened to see them go but I am excited to see how far they will go after they move up. Thank you for all the parents who helped make me grow as well I couldn’t have done without you guys! Until we meet again
