Grades 9-12 - 4:00-4:45pm

Registration is still open for any children grades 1-12 that would like to join.

The Scottsboro Choral Academy is a music class for all students in the Scottsboro area, grades 1-12. Need-based scholarships are available. All school systems and homeschool students are welcome.

Registration is now open for the Scottsboro Choral Academy! You can register online or contact us for more information. There will be a no-obligation interest meeting on August 9th at 3:00 at Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Scottsboro. Students and parents are welcome to attend, have some refreshments, and learn all about the Scottsboro Choral Academy.

SCA has experienced a phenomenal spring semester. Our traditional karaoke party concluded the semester, showcasing the outstanding talents of our students. Despite their varied backgrounds and school systems, as well as their unique personalities, these students have formed lasting connections and friendships through their shared love of music and the performing arts. When asked about their favorite part of the semester, numerous students cited the friendships and sense of belonging they felt within this group. We are truly proud of this exceptional group of students!

Spring semester 2026 highlights:
-A master class with Dr. Amalia Osuga
-Attended Her Art in Song Discovery Day at UAH
-Joint concert with Scottsboro Community Band
-Attended at Little Women the musical at NACC
-Attended at Annie Jr. at KDCIA

The Scottsboro Choral Academy enjoyed attending Annie Jr. at KDICA last Saturday.

We are winding down our Spring Semester today with our traditional end of semester karaoke party. Students and parents are all welcome at 3pm.

The SCA students enjoyed watching the NACC production of Little Women. The opportunity to see the performing arts in action helps build confidence through observing performance techniques and increases motivation to enhance their own performance skills and musicality.
