Staff Spotlight:
Deni Adkins is our newest teacher, teaching Bass Guitar and Flute! Between both instruments, she’s been playing for over sixty years! We’re blessed to have her experience as a classical musician, church bassist, and college professor (in engineering no less!), as well as her upbeat and encouraging personality.

In her own words:

“I love to help people learn and move towards their destiny and full potential. Plus I always learn something from every student. Music is such a gift that we can enjoy at various levels for our whole lives. Every student has value that doesn't depend on how well they perform.”

Student of the week! 🎼📸🏅 Austin just got back from the beach, and evidently the sun wasn’t the only thing needing shades this week! Austin takes piano with Mr. Jonah, and he’s making super progress in both sight-reading and playing by ear.
The future is bright with this one! 😎

Time for a Student Spotlight! ☺️📸🎹

Abrie has been taking for several months now and is a great sight-reader! This week at her lessons she had a piece in a new time signature that was really bugging her, but she worked through it and got it down!

Congrats to our giveaway winners! Heather Carlin and her boys (pictured) went home with a new Yamaha guitar and accessories today! We can’t wait to see them back for their first guitar lesson. 🎸🔥🎶

Congrats to our Student of the Week, miss Abigail Wright!

Abigail is energetic and creative, and she loves to make up her own tunes on the piano. We chose her this week because she brought back some really difficult songs and knocked them both out of the park! It’s always exciting to see students applying themselves and overcoming challenges, especially during the summer months!

Student Spotlight:

Mabrie has been taking piano with us for a few months now and is as spunky as she is talented! She says her favorite part of piano lessons are the cartoon strips in her lesson books. We love her sense of humor how inquisitive she is when we’re learning a new concept!

We had a blast checking out Corner Music in Nashville last week! We have plans to bring equipment and instrument sales to Scottsboro soon. Who thinks Northeast Alabama could use a local guitar shop?
