TRIO Student Support Servies (SSS) is a Department of Education federally-funded program which offers FREE services to first-generation college students, limited-income students, and students with disabilities at WNCC, including:
Tutoring
Workshops (financial literacy, study skills, etc.)
Single Parent in Network (SPiN) support group
Campus visits to 4-year colleges
Academic advising
Supplemental Grant Aid (scholarships)
Scholarship and financial aid assistance
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (type self-assessment)
STRONG Interest Indicator (career self-assessment)

TRIO SSS Objectives are to increase:
Academic success
Persistence
Retention
Graduation
Transfer to 4-Year Colleges/Universities
