🙏 McGivney Fellowship — Leading in Faith and Humility 🙏

We are proud to announce that our very own John Navarro Songco has been selected to participate in the McGivney Fellowship!

The McGivney Fellowship is a two-year leadership program dedicated to developing leaders who serve with faith and humility following the example of Blessed Michael McGivney.

It is a true honor for John to represent our great state of Nebraska, with especially strong representation from the western part of the state! 🤠

This fellowship brings together Knights from across the United States and around the world, with delegates representing from each State, around Canada, South Korea, Poland, Ukraine, Mexico and the Philippines. 🌎

What an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, build lasting relationships, and deepen our commitment to serving the Church, our communities, and the Knights of Columbus.

Congratulations, John! We are proud to see Western Nebraska represented on this international stage! 🙏

Our Annual Golf & Social for our Chaplains was a great success! It was a wonderful opportunity to promote wellness, friendship, fellowship, and brotherhood among our priests serving throughout the Panhandle and beyond.

This year, we were truly honored to welcome Archbishop James Golka of the Archdiocese of Denver! 🙏

We were also blessed with a great turnout of priests, including:

It was a fantastic day filled with golf, laughter, great conversations, and fellowship! ❤️

We are grateful for all our priests and the countless ways they serve our communities. This annual gathering is our small way of saying THANK YOU for their dedication, sacrifice, and spiritual leadership. 🙏⛳️

💪 Many Hands Make Light Work! ⚔️

The Knights of Columbus members had a productive Saturday afternoon helping move, remove, and relocate furniture from Fr. Dan Gilbert’s old house in Scottsbluff! 🏠📦

It was a great example of brotherhood, teamwork, and service—proving once again that when we work together, we can accomplish great things!

Unity, one of the Four Core Principles of the Knights of Columbus, was truly on display today. 🤝❤️

Proud to receive the check from the Nebraska Knights of Columbus!

State Deputy Schaef presented Scottsbluff Council 2681 their $250 incentive check for their 4th Quarter growth. Vivat Jesus!

The Knights of Columbus recently hosted their monthly soup kitchen, serving individuals and families in need within our community.

Let us continue to keep in our prayers all those facing hunger, homelessness, and loneliness in our panhandle area. May we be guided to support and uplift one another with compassion and generosity.

Altar Server Swimming & Pizza Party! 🏊🍕☀️

What started as a cloudy and chilly morning turned into three perfect hours of sunshine and weather for swimming! ☀️🏊‍♂️

It was a fun-filled afternoon celebrating and thanking our amazing altar servers for their dedication, service, and for helping make our Masses so special. ❤️⛪

This was our way of saying THANK YOU and reminding our young servers of the importance and blessing of serving at the altar.

Great job, altar servers! We appreciate you! 🙏❤️

As per Fr. Konka, “You are never too old to serve as an Altar Server”.
