Join us at the Lied Scottsbluff Public Library for story time, Monday 3/16 at 1:30 pm or Thursday 3/19 at 10:30 am or 6:30 pm. Amy will be giving a short presentation on the violin as we learn about the letter V! 🎻

She has been taking lessons with me for about eight years, played in the school orchestra for three years, and has been selected for the Nebraska Music Educators Association All State Orchestra two years in a row! I came to Lincoln this week thinking I was supporting only 3 of my students, but was pleasantly surprised to find out that two former students were here as well! Both of those two former students have been selected for 2026 NSBA 8th Grade All-State Band.

I hope all five of you know how incredibly talented you are, and how very proud of you I am. 👏 🥹 Most of you started with me when you were very young, and watching you guys grow as musicians has been such a blessing to me. Congratulations Audrey, Gabi, Jaxon, JJ, and Rriel. I am honored to have been part of your musical story. 🎶

How lucky am I that I get to see not one, not two, but THREE of my students play in All State ensembles at UNL later this month? 🤩 So proud of all of you! 👏

I don't know the exact day I started giving lessons out of this studio location, but I do know it was early September, 2015. That makes the studio 10 years old! 🥳 🎉 🎶 I'm thinking to celebrate we need to have a pizza party or something. I'm also entertaining the idea of a studio challenge so students have an opportunity to win a prize. What do you think?!
