We get on your pet’s level…

It’s very important to us that your pets feel safe and comfortable when they come to visit us.

Part of how we achieve that is by literally getting on their level. We come to them and meet them where they are.

This helps to reduce anxiety and keep them calm and comfortable. ☺️

June is Adopt-a-Cat month! 🐈

We work closely with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter and they always have kittens and cats to adopt.

If you have room in your home, June is a great time to add a furry family member.

Fun fact - both of our beloved office cats, Tig and Simon, came to us from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter.

Today is National Rescue Dog Day 🐾

This day is designed “to bring awareness to the countless number of amazing dogs in shelters around the country who deserve a second chance at a forever home.”

“NRDD was founded in 2018 by Lisa Wiehebrink. Lisa’s inspiration for National Rescue Dog Day came from her beloved rescue dog Cooper who was rescued as a puppy from a Los Angeles shelter in 2009 after being found in a vacant lot.”

“Rescue dogs are truly remarkable! They overcome extreme obstacles and are incredibly resilient. They make wonderful family pets and a child’s best friend. But, rescue dogs are capable of much more. With training, they contribute to the independence of people with disabilities and give comfort to the elderly. As emotional support companions, rescue dogs help to relieve anxiety, depression, and even PTSD. The possibilities are endless, but most of all, they are love in the purest form and it is hard to imagine a more loyal, worthy companion.”
