The squad is on top of the Bay Area Multisport Initiative Club Competition (.multisport) with one race to go. We collected points at the Morgan Hill Triathlon, the Cupertino Splash and Dashes and kids triathlons around the Bay Area. By including kids events, clubs with junior development programs are rewarded, encouraging teams like ours focused on the future of the sport. The last race of the series is the for kids 6-15 on October 25.

TCMTriSquad has put together a crack team for the Triathlon Mixed Team Relay, an Olympic event, at the Bearathlon. This exciting format sees each athlete (two women and two men) complete a mini-triathlon (250 m swim, 5 km bike, and 1 km run) before tagging their team mate. We finished 2nd in last years event but seem to be the only non-collegiate team pulling up for this fun format.

So, we're putting out a formal challenge to our local rivals for a showdown at the Berkeley Marina on Oct 24.
