OK, be honest!! Before you became a parent, did you see other parents yelling at their kids or maybe, your parents yelled a lot when you were growing up?

So, you made yourself a promise to be a different kind of parent than they were. One who was calm, in control and not yelling at them all the time?

Yet, here you are on your parenting journey. Yelling. Again. It’s not so much about the yelling though, as it is the feelings of guilt you have after the yelling.

You wonder things like…

…Am I ruining my relationship with my kid(s)?
…Am I a bad parent for yelling?
…If my husband would help more, I wouldn’t be so out of control!
…Why can’t I control my kids(s) and my behavior?
…My kid(s) provoke me and start arguments, is that normal and will it ever stop?
…Why do I feel like a failure as a parent? This isn’t how I planned it.

Like many Moms, there were times when I would yell at my kids, then feel guilty and ashamed about it. Then, I would start comparing myself to other moms who weren’t yelling at their kids and feel like s**t that I wasn't doing a ‘good enough’ job as a mom.

Through my intuitive healing and coaching work, I’ve found a powerful strategy to help Mom’s stop yelling at their kids - using humor and other tools, I help moms to understand why you’re yelling and how to shift in those moments when you want to yell. From doing this spiritual work, I yell a whole lot less and keep working on having a great relationship with my three kids.
