Just to keep everyone updated, we were informed this morning that the company that needs to update our fire monitoring system will not be able to finish their work until next week. Once that work is done, we will be clear for DHS to come out to do the final walk-thru to approve the provisional license. We're hoping all of that can be wrapped up next week so that we can open the week of 10/19, but it could be the week of 10/26. We will post an update as soon as we know for sure. Please note that registration fees are still being waved through the end of this month.

Just a reminder that we will be having open house Friday 5p-7p and Saturday 9a-2p. We will have paper enrollment packets available to anyone who has not been able or had a chance to utilize our online interest forms/registration. Also, if you need to submit paper copies of any of your documents, we can scan/copy them while you are here.

Hello everyone! We are doing an open house for potential families during the Scotts Hill Appreciation Days! We will be at the center on Friday, October 2nd, from 5PM to 7PM, and then again on Saturday, October 3rd, from 9AM to 2PM.
We are still taking interest forms for potential children. This allows us to see who we have coming in and their age so we can assess what room to put everyone in. After filling out an interest form, Brightwheel will let me send you the Admissions packet. Doing the admissions packet on Brightwheel allows us, and you, to have a digital copy and make changes as needed. Even if you aren't certain about enrollment until open house, you can still go ahead and fill out the interest form and the enrollment packet and it will help us to get your child in the classroom faster if you decide to enroll with us.

If you sent an email to us, I have emailed you a handbook to look over, an application to complete, and a time for an interview!

If you completed an interest form for a child, I have sent the application packets out to you. I am working with my potential staff members to set up an open house date.

Hi everyone! This is what we call a general interest form, it allows us to know what ages of children we have potentially coming and also allows us to get a little info about you and your child before we do the actual application. It will walk you through the process of setting up a bright wheel account, and that is where we will do any other paperwork. If you have any questions, please feel free to message us or email us!

ETA: there is a question about start date, if you want your child to start as soon as we open, please put today’s date. As soon as I meet with our licensing agent tomorrow about some final details, I plan to start sending out child applications!

Good afternoon. We had our first walk-thru with licensing today. We have an appointment with the fire marshal later this week, just waiting on our internet and phone lines and the health department walk-thru. If all goes well, we expect to start taking applications for employment and child registration next week. Thank you all for your interest, support, and patience!

Good morning! I shared news with my friends yesterday about my upcoming venture, and it seems a lot of people are interested in knowing more. The most asked question I saw was who is the owner of the business. My name is Priscilla Corley. I am one of the two people working on reopening a much needed child care center in Scotts Hill. I am working on my 14th year as a Girl Scout leader, and I was a Cub Scout leader for 10yrs. I worked at the Pringles plant for 19 1/2 years and then at the warehouse across town as a contractor for another 6 years. Last year brought several life changes that made me reevaluate my life path. Somehow I found myself touring the Totsville building. Over the next few months, I learned two things--one that I now understand why there aren't enough daycare centers and two that I couldn't do this alone. After a few months of questioning God, I finally decided to take the leap of faith and start the process of purchasing the building. We have a lot of work to do, and we are still working on getting licensed, but I hope to be able to serve the community very soon!
