Our front office is looking extra bright and welcoming for the new school year thanks to a lovely floral delivery 💐 A huge thank you to leonasuesflorist for providing the gorgeous back to school flower arrangements 🌻 They brought so much color and joy to our entrance as we welcome our students and families back for the year. We appreciate the thoughtful gesture and encourage our school community to remember to support local businesses 🏪✨ 🦅

Opportunity starts by trying something new. Through our partnership with Acadiana Serves, current LPSS middle school students in grades 6 through 8 are invited to discover the game of tennis at two FREE Community Tennis Days, courtesy of the Louisiana Youth School Tennis League. No experience is needed, and racquets and balls are provided, making it easy for every student to step onto the court with confidence.

Today is the day elective fees go live!🎉

Please check your child’s schedule to see if they are taking Art, Band, Computer Literacy/IBCA, or Robotics.

These fees are used to purchase consumable items for student use in each classroom. You can easily pay their fees online through SchoolCash Online. Thank you for helping us prepare for a great school year!

Thank you so much to all of the amazing girls who came out for volleyball tryouts this week! 🏐 We are so excited to announce the new Lady Eagle volleyball team! Huge congratulations to everyone who made the squad this season! 🦅

To those who did not make the team this year, please do not be discouraged! The talent on the court was absolutely incredible, which made these decisions so tough for the coaches! Real athletes never give up—keep practicing, keep working hard, and keep improving your game. We can’t wait to see you back on the court next year! 🦅

What a fantastic start to the school year! Our first two days with staggered start schedules were absolutely amazing, and we could not be prouder of how our students showed up. Everyone was polite, focused, and completely engaged during assembly. Navigating to new classrooms went smoothly with just a little guidance, and all that great attentiveness paid off right away. Students moved quickly between classes, there were very few tardies, and morning arrival is already running like a well-oiled machine. We are so proud of our Eagles and expect to see them continue soaring all year long! 🦅✨📚
