Showing up. Showing love. Year after year. ❤️

Gateway Church continues to show up for Scott Teays Elementary year after year, generously giving their time and talents to help us get our grounds looking their best for our Tigers! From weeding and trimming to weed-eating and sprucing things up, this dedicated group of volunteers always seems to arrive at just the right time. Their timing is perfect, and their help is so appreciated!

What means the most is their commitment to showing up over and over again. They have become a group we know we can count on, and their continued support is such a blessing to our school.

Thank you, Gateway Church, for loving our school so well and for being willing to serve year after year. We are incredibly grateful for each of you!

As we continue to welcome new students and finalize enrollment, class assignments will be determined once enrollment numbers have been confirmed. Families will be notified of their child's teacher assignment prior to Open House.

Scott Teays Elementary staff gathered this week to celebrate four incredible retirees:

🍎 Kathy Chadwell – 22 years in education, including 21 years at Scott Teays Elementary�🍎 Karen Dillard – 33 years in education, including 12 years at Scott Teays Elementary�⭐ Mick Rayburn – 16 years of service, including 5 years at Scott Teays Elementary�⭐ Marie Dimsdale (not pictured)– 10 years of service, including 6 years at Scott Teays Elementary

We are grateful for the countless lives they've touched, the relationships they built, and the difference they've made in the lives of our students, staff, and families.

While they will be greatly missed, we are excited for the adventures and opportunities that await them in retirement. We wish each of them happiness, good health, and many wonderful memories in this next chapter.
