SUPPORTING YOUTH THROUGH THE 4-H AND FFA LIVESTOCK AUCTIONS

Buy local and support youth entrepreneurs in Finney and Scott Counties during the 4-H and FFA Livestock Auctions! Your dollar stays local and helps grow youth livestock projects, building business leaders in Finney and Scott Counties.
Selling family-raised and cared-for project animals, 4-H livestock auctions are either true livestock auctions or premium auctions where youth sell their market animals.
Within a true livestock auction, buyers bid live weight prices for the animals and gain ownership of those animals. In a premium auction, buyers bid an overall dollar per animal to be donated directly to the 4-Hers to reward the 4-Hers for their hard work and support the youth program. Livestock auctions take place at the culmination of the county fairs.
