Huge thanks to UC Davis - Comprehensive Cancer Center for the love! 💌 Last year, our amazing Terrill students wrote heartfelt messages of kindness & positivity to cancer patients. 💪✨ Some of our students even got individual shout-outs for messages that really touched hearts! 🌟 So proud of you, Terrill! Halloween Social for Grades 5 and 6
We are excited to have the 5th and 6th Grade Halloween Social on Thursday, October 22nd! Tickets are now available for purchase on givebacks; the price of each ticket is $5.00. The deadline to purchase tickets will be Friday, October 16.

On the day of the social, there will be no late bus; all students MUST go home with a parent or guardian (even if they usually walk home).

8th Grade Italian is creating a map of what we might find a Italian town including their favorite store. This fun project will help us master key conversational skills for asking and giving directions to places—essential when traveling abroad! 🌍✨🎭✈️
🧩 Evaluating the ‘Whole’ Picture 🧩
7th Grade Social Studies with Mr. Parvin got creative! 🎯 Students tackled a puzzle activity—but here’s the twist: not all the assigned image keys work! 🔑
Some image keys belonged to OTHER puzzles while others were totally wrong 🚫, and some only showed a fraction of the whole puzzle 🔍. The challenge? To reflection on receiving or selecting a source in any type of activity. To figure out which sources are actually helpful! A tactile way to understand about reliable information. 💡 Love this approach! ✨

Well look who came back to visit! 👋📚
SPFHS had their Back To School Night last night and students got early dismissal. Our Terrill alums from the Class of 2029 stopped by! 🎉 I’m not sure why so many wanted to hang at my desk, but it must be all those memories made in this building. From 5th Grade book checkouts to 8th Graders asking to go to the bathroom or grab water (even though there’s no bathrooms or fountains in the media center 😂).
