October is Dyslexia Awareness Month, a time to recognize and understand different ways of learning.

Dyslexia may affect reading and spelling, but it does not define a student’s intelligence or potential.

At Newmark Education, we believe every learner deserves the support and encouragement they need to grow with confidence.

Fall traditions are growing in the Newmark garden!

Students from Mr. Cebula and Ms. Kang’s classroom spent time picking pumpkins from our school garden and sharing the harvest with K–8 and Newmark High School teachers.

Each year, the garden gives our students opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, take part in hands-on activities, and share what they grow with the Newmark community. A special thank you to staff member Pam Taaffe for organizing the garden and this year’s pumpkin picking party.

Thinking about the future starts with giving students opportunities to discover what matters to them and what they want to work toward.

At Newmark, we support students as they explore their interests, recognize their strengths, and develop greater independence and self-advocacy. There is no single path forward. Each experience helps students learn more about themselves and take meaningful steps toward life beyond the classroom.
