South Shore Postpartum Doula Services Professional in-home care for families with newborn babies. I provide Postpartum Doula Services to families in and around the South Shore area of Boston.

My name is Priscilla Young and I’ve been working as a postpartum doula for the past 5 years. I completed my DONA postpartum doula training in 2010. I previously worked as a birth doula since 2002. My favorite part of the birth doula work has always been visiting the family, after the baby has arrived, and helping with the process of settling into parenthood. ly on postpartum work. The first several weeks of your baby’s life are precious. It’s my goal to help families enjoy this transitional time. I provide care for the mother, so she is better able to care for her baby. As a postpartum doula, my goal is to use my training, resources and life experiences to be of service to the family in whatever capacity is needed. I offer evidence-based information on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from childbirth, infant soothing and coping skills. I have experience with singletons as well as twins. My husband James and I are proud parents of three teenagers.
