The esteemed music and theater faculty at Spotlight bring with them an extensive background in all areas of the performing arts. Spotlight offers private lessons in piano, guitar, ukulele, drums, percussion, violin, viola, flute, saxophone, and trumpet. Erin Henry-Verina & Kristy Errera-Solomo

n’s (co-owners) vision for Spotlight is to share their first hand New York City experience, professional knowledge, and love of music and the arts with students. They understand the value of exposing students to the arts, the impact of learning to think creatively, and the importance of building confidence through creativity. Erin and Kristy hope to instill their hard work ethic and love of music and theater to students and young aspiring actors and musicians throughout the South Shore.

Our eighth class announcement for the fall is TV and Film Acting for grades 3-8! Lights, camera, action! Open to all experience levels, this class introduces students to the techniques of acting for the camera. Performers will learn how TV and film acting differs from stage acting while building confidence, developing authentic characters, and strengthening their on-camera presence. Through scenes, commercial-style scripts, and camera exercises, students will improve their communication skills, creativity, and ability to take direction in a fun, supportive environment while making new friends.

Our seventh class announcement for the fall is Rock Band for grades 5-10! Are you ready to rock? Open to all experience levels, this class gives students the opportunity to play and perform as part of a band while developing their music skills and stage presence. Participants will learn how to collaborate with fellow musicians, build confidence, strengthen their listening skills, and bring popular songs to life in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or already love to perform, you’ll make new friends while experiencing the excitement of playing in a band together.

Our sixth class announcement for the fall is Broadway Babes for grades Pre-K and Kindergarten! Designed especially for our youngest stars, this class is open to all experience levels and introduces children to the magic of musical theater through singing, dancing, and use of their imagination. Students will build confidence, make new friends, develop coordination and listening skills, and spark their creativity in a fun, nurturing, and encouraging environment where every child has a chance to shine.

Our fifth class announcement for the fall is Pop Stars for ages 8-13! Does your child love to sing? Want to be a star? Our fourth class announcement for the fall is Spotlight Songwriting for grades 5-10! Whether you’re an aspiring songwriter or simply love music, this class is open to all experience levels! Students will explore the creative process of writing original songs while learning about melody, lyrics, rhythm, and storytelling through music. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, express their creativity, collaborate with peers, and develop their unique artistic voice in a fun, supportive environment while making new friends.

Our third class announcement for the fall is Acting, for grades 4-8! Open to all experience levels, this class helps students build confidence while exploring the art of acting through scenes, character development, improvisation, and theater games. Performers will strengthen their creativity, communication skills, and ability to think on their feet while learning to collaborate with others and bring characters to life. Whether you’re new to acting or looking to grow as a performer, this class offers a fun, supportive environment to develop your skills and make new friends.

Our second class announcement for the fall is Musical Theater, for grades K-3! Designed for young performers of all experience levels, this class introduces students to the exciting world of musical theater through singing, dancing, acting, and using their imagination. Children will build confidence, make new friends, and develop creativity while learning the fundamentals of performing on stage. With fun theater games, songs, and kids musical numbers, students will grow as performers in a supportive and encouraging environment.
