Schwenksville Elementary School

Today, some of our 4th and 5th grade students had the opportunity to spend time with Dr. Russell, our superintendent, to talk about their experience as a Perkiomen Valley School District student. They were polite, respectful, and very articulate during their conversation.

This meeting marks Dr. Russell’s last student meeting before she retires at the end of next month. We would like to thank her for all that she has done to support the students, staff, and community over the past 40 years and wish her well in her retirement.

Today, Mrs. Venza had the honor of joining PACK #105 at their Pinewood Derby and compete in the community partners race. Check out her Schwenksville inspired pinewood derby car. It was so great to see many of our students and families having such a good time at the event!

Our fifth grade chorus sang their hearts out and gave the audience such a gift during our BAM Night event! Our fifth graders have been working hard all year to learn the songs for the performance. Under the direction of our amazing music teacher, Mrs. Joy, they learned all of the different parts and how to sing together as a chorus. Bravo, 5th graders! You did a wonderful job.

It was such a privilege to be able to watch our students design and create their incredible art work throughout the year and have it displayed in such an amazing culminating way at our BAM Night for all to enjoy it. We are so proud of our students for the effort and creativity that went into each piece.

Thank you and congratulations to Mrs. Seitz, our talented art teacher. The display of art at BAM Night was fabulous!

If you have visited the Schwenksville office, you were likely greeted by Mrs. Rice’s warm smile and genuine kindness. Friday was Mrs. Rice’s last day at Schwenksville as she begins a new chapter with her family. We are deeply grateful for all she has done over the years to make everyone who entered the office feel heard, supported, and valued. Mrs. Rice has been a steady, welcoming presence in our school community and she will be missed.

What a fun night of BINGO! Thank you to everyone who came out and played and to our Home & School Association for planning and organizing such a successful event! Thank you to our staff and scout volunteers as well!
