Some of the activities we did at the Under the Sea: Marine Biology workshop.
Students got to try on SCUBA fins, mask, and snorkel, learn about sea snail shell diversity, and fun facts about many different sea creatures!

The enrichment course Under the Sea: Marine Biology was a big success!
We learned about SCUBA and some of the equipment, sea snail diversity by looking at different shells, sea creature guessing game and sea creature sticker faces, marine food webs, and coloring sea creature ornaments. Students went home with marine biology coloring pages, marine organism fact sheets, sea slug stickers, sea creature sticker faces and wooden ornaments, and small sea shells.

Spirit of Inquiry Tutoring has added Christopher Sernaque to tutor AP Psychology, Psychiatry, Test-Taking, Bioengineering, and Forensic Science.
Christopher Sernaqué is a Nationally Certified Psychiatric Technician, former Telescribe for the Urology Clinic of the University of Michigan, and Crisis Counselor who studied Psychology and Forensic Science at Ashworth College, Integrative Mental Health at Texas State University-San Marcos, and Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He has obtained a Higher Education Teaching Certification from the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard University and is a member of the Delta Epsilon Tau International Honor Society. He will soon graduate from the Educational Psychology Doctoral Program at the European International University-Paris, and will soon pursue a post-doctoral diploma in Evolutionary Biology at Cambridge University.

Sneha, works on Sanger DNA sequencing methods at the California Academy of Sciences. We will be identifying new species of sea slugs along the CA coast using their DNA.
