I can honestly say that the experiences I’ve had at Penn State Schuylkill will always remain unforgettable. I have had amazing professors and made the best friendships. Going back to college was one of the most intelligent choices I have ever made. Penn State Schuylkill has a grade A faculty and I would recommend this campus to everyone who wishes to go back to further their career. Best choice ever !!!

Our commencement celebrations continued today when we had the special opportunity to present spring graduate Brandon Harris with his diploma after he had to miss the ceremony held in early May. Brandon earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication, a sports administration certificate, and minors in communication arts and sciences as well as business.

Brandon also served in two internships during his senior year, including one for Penn State Schuylkill Athletics and another in his high school alma mater's athletics department at North Schuylkill School District. He was also the recipient of Penn State Schuylkill's 2022 Corporate Communication Award.

During today’s celebration, Brandon also was recognized as an inductee of Alpha Epsilon Lambda, Penn State Schuylkill’s chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the official honor society of the National Communication Association. He earned this distinction in 2020, but was not recognized at an induction ceremony due to the global coronavirus pandemic. Today, faculty advisers Janelle Gruber and Dr. Valerie Schrader officially welcomed him to the society.

We are Penn State Schuylkill proud of Brandon and cannot wait to see him follow his passion in sports communication. Please join us in congratulating him!

In accordance with public health guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), face masks are now required to be worn indoors at Penn State Schuylkill by all individuals regardless of vaccination status. Masking is required because Schuylkill County is listed as ORANGE (the highest risk level) on CDC's COVID-19 Community Level data. When Schuylkill County's CDC Community Level changes status, the campus will communicate any changes in masking protocols to faculty, staff and students.
