Owners, Kristen & Lauren Gately enjoy being around kids, and believe in providing a safe, fun, healthy and educational environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Together, they have over 13 years of childcare, daycare & preschool experience, and have a great team of employees and instructors. Fro

m story time, educational instruction, arts & crafts to outdoor fun, Bumblebee Academy takes the time to interact with and stimulate each child. Nutritious meals and snacks will be provided to all children throughout the day. Progress reports for our preschoolers will be done on a quarterly basis, so you can keep on top of what your child is learning and how he/she is progressing. Our center officially opened for business on August 4, 2014 after completely renovating the facility with new flooring, paint, storage and toys. Due to increased room sizes, Bumblebee Academy has limited openings for the new school year!

The following spots are available on a first come, first serve basis.

- Mon, Th, Fri- child turning one between this month and November

- 2 full time spots- children turning two between this month and December

- 1 full time spot- child turning three between February and next August

- Mon, Wed, Fri- child turning three between February and next August

- Mon,Fri- child turning three between February and next August

- Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri- child who turned three in July or August or will be three by December

- Tues, Thurs, Fri- child who turned three in July or August or will be three by December

- 2 ft spots for children turning 4 by January in our part day preschool program running 8:30-3:00

We still have a few openings in our 2026/2027 Honey Bee Pre-K Program! 🐝 📚 🍎 ✏️

• This program runs 8:30am-3pm, Monday through Friday
• Full Time (everyday) and Part Time (2-4 days) slots are available
• Follows the SHASD schedule for closures & breaks
• Perfect for anyone who wants to get their child ready for kindergarten!

Requirements:
• 100% Potty Trained
• 4 years old by 11/30/26 or can “test in” earlier
