While our current students were not yet born on September 11, 2001, we will never forget, and we will always teach. 🇺🇸
Today, across the district, students and staff paused to remember the lives lost on 9/11, and to honor the courage, sacrifice and service that followed. Throughout our three school buildings, morning announcements reflected on the events of that day and the American heroes who lost their lives, followed by moments of silence. Students were also encouraged to honor their memory through kindness and service to others.
As part of today’s remembrance, we also recognized the student and staff volunteer first responders within our school community, thanking them for the time they give and the service they provide to others. 25 years later, we remember those we lost, honor those who served and sacrificed, and ensure the next generation understands why we will never forget. 🇺🇸
